Rest and Freedom Found in the Lord

God knows our propensity to turn away from Him and look to ourselves and our own accomplishments (looks, etc.), others' opinions of us (social media?!), food, drinks, and entertainment (escapism), and money (shopping therapy!) to find value in our lives. 

He knows that we need to RETURN to Him and REMEMBER all that He has done for us through Jesus to find true value and worth in who we are and the life that He has called us to live. (Psalm 116:7, Psalm 118:5-9, I John 2:15-17, Luke 8:14) 

Victory in the Christian life only comes as we fix our eyes on Jesus who is the author and perfector of our faith! (Hebrews 12:1,2)  Allow your soul to find REST and walk in the FREEDOM that is found in Jesus.
